Hello

We continue to see exciting developments in the power of voice assistant and AI technologies to improve remote patient monitoring, clinical education, care delivery, and research.

2018 - The Year of Voice in Healthcare
healthcare IT News logo.jpgThanks to Bill Siwicki of Healthcare IT News who interviewed Orbita customers for the recent special report titled AI Voice Assistants Have Officially Arrived in Healthcare. Analysts and journalists echo a sentiment similar to a recent FiercePharma headline which asks, "Will 2018 Be a Tipping Point for Pharma Voice Assistants?"

Most of the recent "buzz" in voice has centered on Alexa. Consider the recent headlines about Amazon doubling down on Alexa development. Just last week, I learned about a projected uptake of Google's voice device. So what's to come of Web and mobile communication? Consider the perspectives of Orbita CEO Bill Rogers in this video, Will Voice Assistants and Bots Replace Websites and Mobile Apps?, and read this from the Medical Futurist Institute, Chatbots Will Serve as Health Assistants.

Developers use Orbita’s platform to visually design, build, and deploy conversational experiences across chatbots, Amazon Alexa, Google Home and other environments. Orbita's moving quickly in the world of voice and healthcare - and we'd love to share more about taking your organization's digital strategy to new levels. • 75% used their smart devices at least once a day
• 100% felt Alexa overall made their life easier
• 71.43% felt more connected to family, friends and the community since the start of the pilot
