Hello there,
Organizations face challenges not only when evaluating new IT solutions, but also when attempting to measure ROI. This is increasingly complex in healthcare where value-based payment models have upended traditional reimbursement. Today's at-risk organizations are incentivized to help people get healthy and stay healthy. In a 2016 article from xtelligent Healthcare Media titled How Do Patient Engagement Strategies Cut Healthcare Costs?, the author states:
(As) providers care for patients remotely and mediate small care needs, they can prevent patients from falling seriously ill. Ultimately, this reduces the likelihood that patients will be faced with major healthcare costs. Robust engagement and preventative care outside of the doctor’s office is what sets good providers apart.
While this article focuses on patient portals, let's fast-forward to today as conversational AI blazes new trails in front of our eyes. Chatbots and voice-enabled virtual assistants are empowering engagement in unprecedented ways. How can healthcare organizations measure the ROI of a radical new approach to digital engagement? Please join us as we explore these concepts:
