• Patients use OrbitaASSIST to request help via a smart speaker — as an alternative or adjunct to the traditional nurse call button

In its first 18 months of operation including use at the prestigious Sydney, Australia-based Prince of Wales Hospital, more than 8,000 patient requests were made.

• Among surveyed patients, 100% wanted to use the solution if hospitalized again
• 87% of nurses said it helped them feel more confident in responding to calls
• Critical care needs were identified earlier; response time to calls for help were reduced by as much as 70%; and facilities saw a reduction in falls and other hospital acquired complications
