June-July 2019

Hello ,

Wow! In a few weeks, more than 5,000 attendees will convene at VOICE Summit 2019, where 350+ speakers will discus how today’s innovators are tapping the new powers of voice assistants, chatbots, and other conversational AI technologies.

I smiled this week while reading a June 19, 2019 ReadWrite blog post that suggested conversational AI can be used to create "buttery smooth" user experiences. In his post AI-Based Conversational Interfaces Will Become A Substitute for Web Forms, Branex's Zubair Hassan writes:

An AI interface helps you build trust and improves engagement while delivering a more convenient and superior user experience. This type of consumer usage crosses platform integration; and the ability to adjust questions according to (personalized) user needs puts it miles ahead of traditional web forms... Give your users the convenience to ask questions with voice-based interfaces instead of forcing them to fill out lengthy web forms.

Conversational AI in healthcare will again be a hot topic at this year's VOICE Summit. Orbita team members will present at various sessions and be available to talk with you on the Expo floor. We recommend the following:

PS: Last fall, WTF requested an interview. What is WTF, besides a really creative name? "WTF Health gives you a glimpse of the future of healthcare by introducing you to the people who are going to change it." Thank you, WTF, for including me. The interview went live a few weeks ago. Watch it here and reach out via email if you'd like to share your thoughts on my commentary.
