Hello ,
- The global chatbot market is expected to reach USD 1.25 billion by 2025, growing at a CAGR of 24.3%, according to Grand View Research, Inc. — with significant traction projected in healthcare.
- A recent MobihealthNews article highlights Grace, a chatbot tested by Providence St Joseph. The author states, "the possibilities for Grace are tantalizing."
- A just-published study in the Journal of Internet Research compared information given by the chatbot with that given by a multidisciplinary group of physicians to patients with breast cancer. Scores from the chatbot were found to be non-inferior to the scores of the physicians. Artificial conversational agents may save patients with minor health concerns from a visit to the doctor, researchers said, adding that "this could allow clinicians to spend more time to treat patients who need consultations the most."
